DOOR promotes sustainable development options, particularly in the field of energy. Activities include public awareness raising regarding energy, environment and sustainable development, education of professionals on sustainable energy technologies and encouraging state and local governments to develop sustainable energy strategies with a higher public participation.

The Union of Autonomous Trade Unions of Croatia is a voluntary and interest association of workers whose goal is improving the quality of jobs, working and living conditions for all. The work of the UATUC is completely independent of the employers, authorities, political parties and religious organizations.

The Institute for International Relations is a scientific institution conducting cross-disciplinary research activities and delivering policy studies, contributes to applied research and debate on current economic, political and social issues of global, national and regional importance and supporting national development in the international environment.

Organizational unit of the Faculty participating in the project is the Department of Power Systems, which has a long experience in research and development in the area of power systems. Apart from holding higher education programs, Department participates in scientific research power systems and energy sector in general and offers support to decision makers, with the aim of a balanced development of the Croatian energy sector.
