Study visit to UK
The aim of the study visit is to ensure transfer of knowledge from UK's institutions and professionals with experience in the field of energy efficiency and fuel poverty (also known as energy poverty). The goal is
to acquire knowledge on relevant policy making and implementation, as well as on the possibilities for lobbying for inclusion of fuel poverty issues into the national energy efficiency policy.
Shifting from socialist to marked-oriented economy inevitably leads to increased prices of energy services leaving many in fuel poverty. All of the EU post-socialist economies have, in greater or lesser extent, faced the same issue, and it is likely to be already happening in Croatia. Due to a lack of data it is not possible to conclude whether this is the case- among others, this Project aims to tackle with that issue.
